Kisah pelik warga emas itu dilaporkan akhbar ini akhir bulan lalu dan sejak itu,banyak pihak tampil menawarkan bantuan untuk merawat penyakitnya. Menurutnya, selepas beberapa hari minum susu dari Australia itu, dia kini sudah boleh tidur walaupun sekejap.Katanya, lelaki terbabit yang juga anak seorang kenalan lamanya yang kini menetap di Kuala Lumpur, berkunjung ke rumahnya sebaik kisahnya itu mendapat liputan media elektronik dan cetak. “Dia memberi saya setengah tin susu dan meminta saya mencubanya dahulu.“Selang dua hari kemudian saya bukan saja mampu tidur lebih dua jam, malah boleh menelan nasi sedikit tidak seperti sebelumnya.“Bagaimanapun, susu yang diberi kepada saya itu kini sudah habis danlelaki berkenaan ada berpesan pada saya elok sekiranya saya teruskan mengambil susu itu jika kesannya positif,” katanya.
